Hello,
I attended the alchemy conference last weekend and am writing to thank Alfredo for a most inspiring and thought provoking presentation. I attended many of the presentations at the Conference and found them all very interesting with a few in particular fascinating and very memorable. However, I must say that the presentation that most captivated me was Alfredo’s discourse. I think Alfredo is one of those rare individuals who will truly make a big difference in this world on a grand scale. He clearly has the ability and focus to change existing attitudes toward current world institutions and structure and bring a new thinking and much needed spirituality into the mix. I did thank him very briefly after his presentation but he was surrounded by a crowd of attendees at the time so I didn’t have much time to thank him properly.

I am also very interested in shamanism and had spent a good part of 2 years participating in sacred plant ceremonies with shamans from Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Brazil. I have had very powerful experiences with this and am very drawn to this form of spirituality. So my interest was definitely piqued when I heard Afredo was a Mayan priest. Does he have any future plans for introducing others through workshops/seminars/retreats in South America (or elsewhere) to indigenous shamanism? I would certainly be interested.

Again many thanks for sharing your focus, ideas and wonderful Spirit – it inspires hope to know there is someone so intent on making a difference.

I must share that your beautiful words came in while I was editing a summary of Alfredo’s LA visit to the blog. So I am taking a rare moment to reply to your message.

It was a new and different sort of venue for Alfredo and so in many ways it was characteristic of all that comes with being in a more relaxed, free-spirited conference setting vs. a formal international meeting of nation-states. We learned so much from all of you. As an audience, we found you held your attention with stellar clarity and energetically, as a group, you fell so beautifully into the message. It was your presence Susan and that of so many like you that elevated the message.
