“PON EL PODER DE TU SILENCIO A DISPOSICION DE TODOS”

CHO TAB KHEN ZAMUBLING (Alfredo Sfeir-Younis) will lead the meditation. He has issued a call to all spiritual leaders and many have overwhelmingly extended their love and support. In equal measure, his call goes out to citizens of the world to offer the power of your silence in solidarity with those who gather in Santiago de Chile for inner peace and greater cooperation with the earth.

Many of you have written and inquired about Alfredo and his family. We offer a modest update:

Prior to the earthquake in Chile, the Zambuling Institute for Human Transformation at Alfredo’s request was mobilizing an effort to support the people of Haiti. That effort was diverted on February 26, when a series of mega earthquakes struck Chile.

His immediate family all faired well. His ranch home suffered great damage and the homes of his neighbors were destroyed. On that day, life was prioritized in quite a dramatic way. Alfredo was in Costa Rica during the quake and while away put together a truck filled with supplies that accompanied him to his southern Chile home to address the immediate needs of his neighbors left homeless by the quake. This effort continues.

All immediate ZIHT efforts outside of Chile are now on hold.

Slowly, his home is being salvaged. Alfredo holds meditation in his southern Chile home at 7pm, on evenings when he is in his village. He has cooked noontime meals for his neighbors who have suffered great losses and brought in food, water, medicine, construction materials, and clothing to the village. He is working cooperatively with local government officials, healthcare providers, churches, and educators in southern Chile and in Santiago to resolve the problems of the poor and elderly most affected by these recent events.

Thank you for your prayers of solidarity. May they continue.

Nurturing the Heart of Climate Change

The intention statement for WiseClimate 2009…

“We the people, the ancestors of our great, great grandchildren, call forth the deepest wisdom and the highest compassion from all those working for a healthy global climate, for the benefit of the entire Earth community and the next seven generations.”

The Gaiafield Center for Subtle Activism at California Institute of Integral Studies, in collaboration with Association for Global New Thought, Culture of Peace Initiative, Vessels of Peace, Zambuling Institute of Human Transformation and many local groups around the world announce WiseClimate 2009, a “subtle activism” program to bring people from around the world together in meditation, prayer, and celebration to support a wise approach to global climate change.

In the fall and winter of 2009, the UN Climate Change conference will convene in Copenhagen, a key energy bill will be put before the US Congress, and other critical climate-change related events will occur. Join people all around the world in meditation, prayers, and celebration to support the highest and best outcomes emerging from these important forums in the fall of 2009.

Earth’s Resources: A Global Appeal for Change

Cho Tab Khen Zambuling (Alfredo Sfeir-Younis) in a call for frugality and temperance of Earth’s resources, declared in a statement released at 18:00 GMT that “Today’s economics is not economical any longer.”

Click HERE to read his full appeal

In a preamble to his appeal he shared the following…

“The new challenge for humanity is to be fully aware of its collective nature. This is unfolding through fully interdependent interactions with other people, nature and the spirit. Thus, our awareness tells us that the power of “individual materialism” is decaying in front of our eyes, and that a new era is unfolding. This is the era of self realization guided by the collective values of love and compassion, caring and sharing, solidarity and interconnectedness,…, deeply rooted in our inner and outer reality. As the “I” is changed by the “We”, more happiness, joy and fulfilment will grow.”
