The Silent Peace Meditation will be led by Alfredo Sfeir-Younis, Founder and President of Zambuling Institute for Human Transformation (ZIHT). Alfredo Sfeir-Younis retired recently from the World Bank, where he held various key positions over a period of nearly 29 years. His last position was Senior Advisor to the managing directors, and the Institutional Focal Point on human rights. He has received numerous awards including the Lifetime Ambassador of Peace Award, World Healer Award and Social Corporate Responsibility Award. While his current role appears to differ greatly from senior positions held at the World Bank, the thrust and essence of his life’s work toward the betterment of global society continues unchanged.
